All my siblings and I are curditarians (Whatever that means). We would never sit for lunch without having plain curd.
This raita was Biryani day special .
In this easy recipe, Sugar, salt,
black pepper, cumin powder and chat masala is whipped well with plain curd. If
using thick yoghurt, ¼ cup water is added. The consistency should not be very
watery.
Chopped or grated cucumber, finely chopped onions and
coriander leaves along with a sliced green chilli is mixed with the curd.
Adding grated carrot is optional.
Mix well together in the curd. Adjust the sugar and salt to
your preference.
This recipe serves 2-3 people.
